The Sunday Chronicles

(AP) – A meteor crashed into Earth near Siberia on Friday, injured more than 1,000 people and smashed windows throughout several towns.  A natural phenomenon like this happens every hundred years or so.  Yvgeny Stupiltikov, a local warehouse manager, recalls the moment vividly.  “I was there, by the window, about to take my daily HBV pill.  Suddenly, a blinding light came, like it was the end of the world.”  He continued.  “By the time I came to my senses, I couldn’t remember if I had a full stomach or an empty stomach to take my pill.  In fact, I couldn’t even remember if this pill is supposed to be taken on a full or empty stomach.  I felt so confused.  Damn meteor.”
